Junior HR Business Partner

This is an 8 month fixed term contract in Usk.

Junior HR Business Partner

Location: Usk, Monmouthshire

Type: Contract

Salary: c£37,000

  • Responsibility for all procedures around family and maternity leave
  • Providing cover for sickness absence management whenever necessary
  • Ensuring all formal HR processes and investigations for disciplinaries and grievances are correctly managed and legally compliant
  • Responsibility for family leave support, flexible working application
  • Coaching managers to improve their understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Maintaining effective relations with Trade Unions
  • Contributing to continuous improvement
  • Supporting HR projects e.g   Employee Relations, Wellbeing and Learning & Development 

The successful candidate will have:

  • CIPD Level 5/or working towards/significant relevant HR experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of Employment Law and HR best practice
  • Confidence to use own initiative and make decisions
  • Self assurance to influence and motivate Directors and Senior Managers
  • Experience of working with and developing policies and procedure
  • Experience of managing and analysing HR metrics
    Sound IT skills – Office 365, HR systems
